The design of this garden, surrounded by the Yemeni, Jordanian, United Arab Emirates, and Turkish pavilions at the International Expo 2000 in Hannover, was inspired by Moorish culture. The composition is based on interaction between vegetation, water, and materials such as basalt, concrete, sandstone, coloured loam plaster, synthetic resin, clay plastering, swung paths, and mosaic tiles.
